Project organisation
The project was divided into 4 work packages (WPs); each work package coverd specific tasks contributing to achieve the common objective of improving implementation of the Medical Exposure Directive provisions related to radiation protection training of medical professionals in the EU Member States.
WP0 chaired by the coordinator of the project was responsible for the management and general coordination of the project.
WP1 was in charge of developing the methodological approach for the study on radiation protection training of medical professionals in the EU Member States, to carry out the study as well as to develop a structured evaluation/summary document of the study as a basis for the European Workshop under WP2. The work package was chaired by EFRS.
WP2 was responsible for organising the European workshop on radiation protection training of medical professionals in the EU Member States to discuss the findings of the survey. The work package was chaired by the ESR.
WP3 developed the European Guidance document on radiation protection training of medical professionals, which was the core task of the project. The work package was chaired by EFOMP.
